Cost and Management Accountancy is the credential behind pricing, costing and internal decision-making in Indian industry. Foundation is the entry stage, and it sits neatly alongside Grade 11 and 12.
The preparatory programme spans two academic years, with roughly 11 to 12 months of active teaching inside that span, covering every CMA Foundation subject.

Passing requires a minimum of 40% in each paper and 50% aggregate across all four.

Two groups covering financial accounting, laws and ethics, direct and indirect taxation, cost accounting, operations management, and financial management.
Supervised industry or practice training as prescribed by ICMAI, typically undertaken alongside the Final stage.
Two groups covering corporate and economic laws, strategic financial management, strategic cost management, and business valuation.
ICMAI membership, with roles across cost audit, pricing strategy, FP&A and manufacturing finance.
